I am back with a new cozy book recommendation! The Cottage of New Beginnings is a beautiful story of a woman rediscovering herself within the loving circle of new and old friends. Many thanks to Canelo and Netgalley for the e-arc! ❤

Synopsis :

One crumbling cottage. One broken heart. A chance to start over?

When Annie returns to Thorndale, the village where she spent much of her childhood, she’s looking for a new start. All she wants to do is fix up the cottage her godmother left her, and fix up her broken heart.

When she clashes with local hero, Jon, Annie can’t help but wonder if coming back to Thorndale was a mistake. The village has clearly changed and the last thing she needs is more drama. But avoiding the distractingly handsome Jon is proving impossible, especially when Thorndale seems to be conspiring to throw them together…

Annie is looking for a fresh start with zero romance – but what if the only way to learn to trust again is to take a risk on love?

My thoughts on the book :

The Cottage of New Beginnings had a really heart-warming storyline! I know I’ve mentioned it a lot of times, but I’m a fan of all kinds of cozies, specially cozy books and movies, and The Cottage of New Beginnings was just that.

The author has a very captivating style of story-telling. She beautifully wrote the descriptions of village/ country-side life, which I really appreciated. I longed to be with Annie and roam around the enchanting spots in Thorndale. The romance between Annie and Jon was angsty but sweet, and I loved seeing them getting close throughout the book. The book also had strong female friendships which felt like cherries on top of a delicious cake for me. :’)

The Cottage of New Beginnings comes out tomorrow, September 3rd. If feel-good books are your thing, I highly recommend picking it up.
